4 Months Old!

I'm 4 months old today! Mama and Papa had a big day planned for me. First, we visited Papa's friends at WMBI-AM 1110. I even got to sit in their studio. Testing, testing!



Then we had lunch at Mama and Papa's favorite Japanese restaurant, Matsuya. The food looked so good, but I still like Mama's milk.



Then, they finally surprised me with my first visit to Wrigley Field. Wow! I hope I get to come here a lot in the summer time!

My Favorite Toy

My parents recently introduced me to Freddie the Firefly. We've been best friends ever since.

Welcome Koske!

Mama was really smart. She must have been watching the news and got me ready for it. The Cubs signed Koske Fukudome! I was ready to celebrate in my favorite sleeper!

Hat Shopping

Yesterday, Mama and Papa decided to take me to the mall. We had fun walking around, and then we walked into GapKids. They found lots of winter apparel for me to try on.



Guess which hat they eventually picked for me? You'll just have to find out the next time you see me!

I'm 100 Days Old!

On Friday, I turned 100 days old. In Korean culture, that's a big deal. You can read all about it here. To remember this special day, we all got dressed up and had our pictures taken.



The next day, my parents threw a big "baek-il" (100th day) bash for me. Despite the very bad weather, a lot of troopers still made it over to our house for the party.



I can't wait to do this again when I turn 200 days old!

Pain

Papa got his wisdom teeth pulled out today and he's not feeling so good. I guess he'll be eating the same kind of food as me for a while. Mama and I will do our best to take care of Papa until he gets better.

Laugh It Off

I just learned how to laugh. It's pretty easy when I've got Papa singing silly songs to me and the dogs acting all funny!

Bad Hair Day

Mama forgot to comb my hair.

Bath Pharoah

Mama has a favorite towel she uses when she gives me a bath. When she puts the hood on, she says I look like a Pharoah. Yup, I like to think of myself as royalty! Anyway, Mama tries to swaddle me in the towel, but doesn't she know that a Pharoah doesn't swaddle? While she wasn't looking, I broke free...

Shopping at Fox Valley

Mama and Aunt Jessica decided to take me and cousin Zach to the mall. Aunt Jessica wanted to show Mama the cool family lounge they have there. Mama was impressed. We also walked around the mall, and I got to see my first Christmas trees.

Not the Baby Anymore

The other day, Mama and Papa noticed that Victor was acting a little strange. He was walking around with his tail between his legs. Papa thought Victor might be sick, so he took him to the vet. The vet checked Victor out, and guess what? The vet said that Victor wasn't sick, just depressed. He said that all Victor needed was some TLC. Poor Victor.

Harabujee's Birthday Party

On Saturday, the whole Kim family got together along with Harabujee's friends to celebrate his 70th birthday. Wow, I can't even count that high! There was a lot of Korean food. I even tried to eat some rice!

Happy Halloween

I'm not old enough to go trick-or-treating, but Mama and Papa did dress me up as a Cubs fan, of course!

My New Friends

Mama and Papa have been introducing me to a lot of new friends these days. Mama's having a good time except that she just wants to sleep a little more. I told her that I'll try to sleep more on visit days. So remind us to take a good nap before visiting! Let's do it again!

2 Months Old

On Monday, I turned 2 months old. Boy was I happy about that!



Today, though, I wasn't so happy. That's because Mama took me to the mean doctor's office where they stuck me with lots of needles. I cried, but then Mama held me afterward and I felt much better. Mama told me it was harder for her than it was for me, but I don't believe her.
