Go Cubs Go!

Papa likes to sing his favorite lullaby to me every day. It's called "Go Cubs Go." I like the beat, but it's hard to remember all the words. Papa's a big Cubs fan...he told me to be prepared for a lifetime of heartache. But he thinks it's a good sign that the Cubs won on the day I was born. Tonight, Papa and I celebrated the Cubs' clinching the National League Central Divison Championship by putting on our Cubs outfits and singing "Go Cubs Go."

One Month Old

On Saturday, I turned one month old. Mama and Papa couldn't believe how fast it went by. They took me to the studio for a photo shoot. It was fun! What do you think, do I have a future in modeling?

I also went to the doctor today for my one month visit. Guess how much I weigh now? 9 lbs 2 oz! What can I say, I'm a good eater, just like Papa.

Faces

Mama and Papa call this my "drunken sailor" look after I've had a good feeding.

They also say I have a really big mouth. Well, all this eating is very tiring!

Smart

Papa taught me to hold my own pacifier. He says I'm very smart. That's right, looks and brains too!

Score!

Papa keeps telling Mama to work quickly while at the changing table. Heh heh... I've already surprised Mama a few times with a little gift that I wanted to share at just the right moment. Whiiiizzzz! It was fun, but Mama wasn't too happy.

Well, tonight, I wanted to surprise Papa because he was getting too confident about how fast he changes my diaper. So, I made sure I saved it up for just that moment when he changed me. And when he did... Whiiiizzzz! "Woah!" Papa said! It got all over and Papa had to wipe me clean afterwards, but it was worth it.

Current score: Papa 17 days, Micah 1 day.

I'm coming back Papa... Watch out!

Not Again!

Mama and Papa put me in the bouncer for a test run. I was happily bouncing along, when all of a sudden, I got another attack of the hiccups.

Let's Go Shopping!

This weekend Halmoni (my Korean grandmother) came to stay with us for the weekend. She made a lot of Korean food for Mama. When Halmoni wasn't cooking, she took some time to play with me.

On Sunday, we went to Aurora to visit my cousins Nathaniel, Mia, and Jack. Nathaniel came to see me in the hospital, but I could only see him through the glass door. This time, he got to hold me.

On the way home, we went shopping at the Korean grocery store. It was fun!

I even took a picture of Papa as he pushed me around in my stroller.

On Monday, Halmoni stayed home to cook some more while I went with Mama and Papa to the mall. Papa introduced me to Sbarro's pizza. It was really tasty. I'm glad Papa knows how to share.

But now, I'm pooped. Oops! Did I just poop?
