Mama and Papa are always talking about names. All these names. I guess, they have a poll and have you all voting on my name. Well, I think they decided...
I heard Mama say to Papa one day at Egg Harbor Cafe, "You write your name on a napkin, and I'll write my name on a napkin. If it's the same name, then it's decided." Papa sounded a little distraught, "I don't think this is going to work." It was silent for a little while, and then I heard Mama say, "Oh Papa!" Papa said, "Didn't you say to write my name on the napkin?"
I still hear them arguing about names, so I don't think they agreed.
I wonder what the napkin said? [ napkin ]

Michigan Trip
Only 10 More Weeks!!!
My parents and I are very excited about my approaching debut in about 10 weeks. Mama loves having me in her tummy, but now that I'm getting bigger and taking up more space, it's getting a little harder for her. To help, Mama's been taking some prenatal aqua classes. She likes it a lot because when she's in the water she is weightless and can lie on her tummy. (No pictures of Mama in her swimsuit, though, at her request.)
Mama and I are both a little nervous about how it's going to go when it's time for me to come out, but with Papa as coach we'll be just fine. I hear, however, that my room still needs a little work. Like my crib, which is all in pieces in a box. It's one of many projects around the house that Mama and Papa still have to do before I arrive.
Ready for some more pictures?

Here is Mama at her office. This is where I hang out a lot.

And next is Papa caught red-handed while pretending to be Mama. Nice try, Papa!

Father's Day with the Kim Family
Above are my other cousins Alyssa, Nicole, and Matthew. And on the left are my other other cousins Mia and Jack. Their older brother Nathaniel wasn't able to come, so I'll have to show you a picture of him later. I told you I had lots of cousins!

We all had a really good time. Papa's mandoo was a hit with everyone, especially the cousins. Actually, we had a lot of good food. I must say, Mama fed me pretty well.
Here are some more pictures from the Kim family get together. Enjoy...

Rugrats!
So Mama and Papa have been telling me about these rugrats that we have. From left to right, it's Victor (poodle), Sofie (border collie), and Jake (german shepard).
All they do is eat, sleep, and poop all day. Hey, I thought that was my job! Oh yeah, and Victor barks a lot too. Hard to get any sleep around here with all the barking...sheesh! Anyway, Mama and Papa say that they're going to have to train the rugrats to be gentle and careful with me when I join the household. At first, Papa thought they had to worry about Victor the most, because he's the alpha and can get aggressive. But lately, Papa's been thinking that it's actually Jake who might be the biggest danger, because he weighs almost as much as Mama and can run people over and give them whiplash with his tail when he gets excited. Well, they seem like fun and I can't wait to play with them when I get older.

Pregnancy and Food
After "do you know what you're having?" and "do you have a name yet?", probably the next question Mama gets asked most often is "have you had any food cravings?" Well, to be honest, Mama has had a lot more food aversions than cravings. During the first few months after I took up residence in Mama's tummy, she had an aversion to pretty much all foods. Then, somewhere in the second trimester, Mama finally had her first food craving--guacamole! Boy was Papa happy about that! He gladly joined Mama in eating lots and lots of guacamole. But then a few weeks later, the craving went away, and Papa mourned. Currently, Mama does not have any food cravings, but she does have aversions to onions, carrots, and hamburgers.

Visiting the Cousins
A couple of weeks ago, we went to visit my cousins Sofia and Nathan in Vernon Hills.

Papa had a fun time changing a diaper for the first time. Mama and Papa also got a lot of hand-me-downs for me.
While we were there, we all got a good scare when Sofia wandered away from the back yard and went missing. Fortunately, one of the neighbors across the street found her in his yard and brought her back home. Boy, were we all glad to see her! After that, Mama and Papa talked about getting a "leash" for me.

I don't think so!

Bass Pro Shop
Mama and Papa just don't know how to just do one thing and go home. But, it gives me some interesting trips. On Tuesday, we went to the new Promenade Bolingbrook just to go in one store. That turned into two. Then it turned into "let's drive around the mall." By this time, I was getting hungry and could definitely eat (at least, that's what I tried to tell Mama). So, we pulled into the Bass Pro Shop. I guess Mama and Papa never saw one before. Mom was a little disturbed.

However, Mama got over it and decided to take a couple of pictures to show me later so I recognize it when we take Uncle Joe there.

We eventually went in, thinking that we could eat there at their restaurant. Papa caught a bad smell inside, and we left. However, I will say, it was probably all for the best.

You Gotta Have Heart
You may think that I'm not doing much in here, but actually life is pretty busy. I'm practicing my swallowing, I'm doing flips and kicks, and I'm waving my arms. It's enough to get any kid's heart pumping. If you want to hear what my heart pumping sounds like watch this YouTube video below:

Introductions
Hello World! I might not seem like much, but everyone has to start somewhere. I've grown a lot in the last 27 weeks. So, to catch you up on how I've been growing, here are some of my pictures from inside Mama's tummy.
At 8 weeks I was a mere jelly bean.
At 12 weeks, I grew a backbone (yeah!) and you can see it when I'm facing away from you (top picture). You can see my good side (my front) in the bottom picture.
Here I am at 21 weeks, sucking my thumb.
Aren't I cute?
Mama and Papa are really smart. They know that time with me is going to be pretty hectic, so they wisely went on a vacation in March (when I wasn't so busy moving and kicking). They said something about San Diego.

Here are some recent pictures of Mama's growing belly:

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone in 3 months!
